Maritime Cup: ENL, ABTL, Josephdam win first matches

ENL Consortium, operators of Terminals C and D at the Lagos Port Complex Apapa, on Wednesday morning defeated Dangote Ports Operation 5-0 in their Group A match encounter in the ongoing 11th Maritime Cup Competition.

The two-week long competition, which kicked off in Lagos on Tuesday, is organised by Ships & Ports.

The goals scored by ENL were courtesy of Saheed Babatunde, Gabriel Isaac, Emeka Uchechi, Sunday Uche and Salami Rasheed in the 8th, 31st, 36th, 52nd ad 73rd minutes of the match.

Two other matches will be played today. The matched are Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) versus Apapa Bulk Terminal Limited (ABTL) at 1pm and Josephdam Ports Services versus Tin Can Island Container Terminal (TICT) at 3pm. All the matches are being played at the NPA Sports Ground, Bode Thomas, Surulere, Lagos.
