Action resumed in the ongoing Maritime Cup tournament on Monday with the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and the Nigerian Navy winning their second group matches.

NIMASA played their second group match against APM Terminals at the NPA Sports Ground, Surulere, Lagos while the Nigerian Navy played against Truck Transit Park (TTP).

The NIMASA-APM Terminals match ended 6-2 while the Navy-TTP match ended 9-1.

Three matches are scheduled to be played today. The first match is between stevedoring company Blueche Lomado against five-time champions Nigeria Customs Service at 9am. The match will be played at the Stable Sports Complex, Surulere.

COSCO Shipping will also trade tackles with defending champions Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) while Nigerian Shippers’ Council will play Comet Shipping at 1pm and 3pm respectively. Both matches will be played at the NPA Sports Complex, Surulere.
